Two kinds of writing sit on this site, and they are never mixed.
Family narrative marks words written by a descendant — the accounts of Caroline and Hyrum, preserved from the family’s 1997 website. Obvious scanning errors have been corrected. Nothing has been rewritten, smoothed, or added.
From public records marks a page built from documents: the 1997 family tree, FamilySearch’s public tree, Sanpete County census and marriage records, and the Moroni City Cemetery register. These entries state dates and places and stop there. Where a record contradicts the family tree, both are shown.
No biography on this site has been invented, inferred or filled in. Where a life is thin here, it is not because the material is missing: all twelve children are written up in the family’s 2007 history. It is because this site has not yet been drawn from that book.

Changes to the record are logged here rather than applied silently, so anyone who read an earlier version can see what moved.
- 1 September 2026 — The parents’ marriage date settledThe 1997 family tree gave 10 December 1853; the Danish marriage record gives 18 January 1853 at Ålborg. Confirmed against FamilySearch by David Christensen. Caroline was born there the following November, which fits.
- 1 September 2026 — Amelia’s marriage date resolvedThe 1997 family tree gave 26 December 1867, four months before her birth. Utah county marriage records give 26 December 1887, to Amos Alma Bradley Jr at Moroni. Her death date is now exact as well: 25 May 1942. Found by David Christensen.
- 1 September 2026 — Emily’s dates completedDeath recorded as 8 October 1907 at Freedom, Sanpete County, aged thirty-three, previously only the year. Her marriage year is now shown as disputed rather than settled.
- 1 September 2026 — A photograph count withdrawnThe Family Meetings page said its four photographs came from fifty-five taken that afternoon. That figure was inferred from the camera’s file timestamps rather than drawn from a record, and has been removed. Forty-two photographs, chosen by David Christensen from the day’s frames, are now published in full on the photographs page. The group photograph on the Family Meetings page has been replaced with another frame of the same pose, from that set.
- 2 September 2026 — Emily’s marriage year settledThe 1997 family tree gave 1892. FamilySearch gives 20 December 1893, at Moroni. Supplied by David Christensen. This was the last open question on the site.
- 2 September 2026 — Three 2007 captions correctedWritten from thumbnails and wrong in detail: a Danish flag said to hang behind the stand when it hangs at the end of it, a painting called a portrait, and cutout figures of Niels and Christiane called a pioneer tableau. All three now describe what the photographs show.
