Emily was born at Moroni on 29 September 1874 and married Norman Lee Taylor at Moroni on 20 December 1893, at nineteen. The 1997 family tree gives 1892; FamilySearch gives 20 December 1893, supplied by David Christensen, and the later date is followed here. They had five children, two sons and three daughters, and were living at Silver City, in Juab County, by 1900.
She died on 8 October 1907 at Freedom, in Sanpete County — where her eldest sister Caroline had been living in 1880 — aged thirty-three. She was the second of Niels and Christiane’s daughters to die young, two years after Christena, and is buried in Moroni City Cemetery.
The Taylor line kept the family’s history alive. At the 1997 meeting in East Mill Creek, it was Geneil Taylor who presented the research on Niels and Christiane themselves.
The 2007 family history carries a biography of Emily; nothing from it has been brought onto this page yet. Everything above is from public records.
Compiled from the 1997 family tree, FamilySearch’s public tree, and Sanpete County cemetery and census records. A full biography of this child appears in Niels & Christiane Christensen: Danish Pioneers of 1857 (2007). This page has not yet been drawn from it.
