Heber Christensen

Heber was the last of the twelve, born at Moroni on 7 December 1878 when his mother was forty-five and his father forty-six. He was five when she died.

He married Minnie Marnetta Christensen at Manti on 22 December 1897 — a fortnight past his nineteenth birthday. The 1997 family tree recorded the year only as 189—; the county marriage record completes it. They had ten children, four sons and six daughters, and Minnie died in 1935.

He was still farming in the Moroni precinct at the 1940 census and appears again in Sanpete County in 1950. He died at Moroni on 23 November 1952, aged seventy-three, and is buried in Moroni City Cemetery.

He outlived all eleven of his brothers and sisters. When he died, the last person who had known Niels and Christiane as parents was gone.

The 2007 family history carries a biography of Heber; nothing from it has been brought onto this page yet — though he lived until 1952, and there are people alive who knew his children. Those memories are still recoverable.
